ASSIGNMENT 4



For the week of October 5th to 8th

1. FIRST DAY OF CLASS: Spelling oral and written quizes of the (15) NORMAL and (15) EXTREME ADJECTIVES that we learned in class.

Here is a video with some more extreme adjectives, if you want to learn more!

ASSIGNMENT 3


For the week of September 28th to October 2nd

1. Copy the following questions in your notebook and memorize them for your FIRST day of class.:

      2. Print the pages in the following link: ABSOLUTE ADJECTIVES and SPELL the adjectives  by heart, for the SECOND day of classes. Remember to take your dictionary to school especially this day. You will use it in class.
        
      3. Complete the following activities in the STUDENTS BOOK, for your last day of classes:

  •            page 9 activity 3: a, b
  •            page 10 acitivity 1: a, b

  • Remember: Write your answers in a sticky note. 
          Don't forget to have your representative has to sign EVERY PAGE of the assignments.

     4. Prepare your Group project on: "Turistic Itinerary in Ecuador". The presentation of the project is your last day of English class on the week of October 5th to 8th. Remember we won't have classes on Friday October 9th.

           You have to write an imaginary turistic itinerary for three days including nine places to visit (morning, afternoon and evening) according to the model we worked in the book. Remember that each member of the goup has to write the activities you are doing in each place you are going to visit and email it to the leader of the group including three pictures. You can find all the information in the internet but remember you have to write using YOUR OWN WORDS, for example:
         "On Saturday morning we are going to visit Baños to bathe in the thermal pools, then we will eat the typical food made with baken cuy "guinea pig" and then we will buy some souvenirs for the family that is visiting us." 
          
           Check: It's a very easy project! Because it is the first one!

          The leaders of the groups have to present the FIRST DRAFT of the written work on WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 30th.

1. Practice Book. Vocabulary Unit 1: Choose 20 words and write a 10 sentences story, in your notebook, by hand.
2. Practice Book pages 4, 5 and 6
3. Print the Criterios de Evaluación attached in your email and make your parents read and sign. Bring the signed part to school this week.
